Single Phase Bridge Rectifier Circuit Diagram
Single phase bridge rectifier circuit is most widely used circuit in electronics for DC supply. This circuit needs four diodes for bridge structure, because of not used center tapped transformer in this circuit. In center tapped transformer has maximum voltage of Vsm.

Working
During the positive input to the rectifier diode D1 and diode D2 are conducts means forward biased the remaining diodes D3 and D4 reversed biased then the circuit gives output of V+ and 0V.
Next during the negative input to the rectifier circuit (remaining half wave) the diodes D3 and D4 conducts forward biased then the diodes D1 and D2 reverse biased then the output gives same before.
